Will There Be A Season 2 Of The Pentaverate? Release Date Status And Cast

In the new Netflix show The Pentaverate, Mike Myers brings his own style of comedy back to the big screen.

Whether you like him or dislike him, you can’t deny that longtime fans of the comedian have missed him as a leading man for more than a decade.

The Pentaverate had it all, from meta-commentary about signing your life away to a look at the good things about secret societies… There were jokes about farts and poop, and there was a scene with a lot of nudity (and hot dogs).

But what does the show have in store? Is there going to be a second one, or was this the last one?

Here is everything you need to know about the future of this super-secret, secret society.

When Might Season 2 Of The Pentaverate Come Out? Is There Going To Be Another Season?

At the time the show came out, nothing had been said about a second season. But it looks like there are plans for the story to go on at least.

Most of the time, Netflix calls its shows “limited series” if they’re only meant to be watched once.

The Pentaverate is not like this because the episodes are labeled “season one.”

So, while we wait for official news, we can probably assume that there is at least a plan to move the story forward. We’ll let you know when we find out more.

Who Will Be In Season 2 Of The Pentaverate?

If the show comes back, Mike Myers will come back with it. Not only did the star of Austin Powers make the show, but he also played at least eight of the roles. Myers has been known to bring on a lot of famous friends with whom he has worked before for roles big and small.

Neil Mullarkey plays the mysterious Moustache Man. He worked with Myers on the TV show Wide Awake Club in 1986. Rob Lowe from Parks and Recreation, who worked with Myers on Wayne’s World and Austin Powers, also shows up in the season as a version of himself who is confused and has lost his memory.

Lydia West, Ken Jeong, and Keegan Michael-Key from It are a Sin are the newest members of Myers’s recurring cast. (Of course, we can’t forget the narrator, Jeremy Irons.)

Even though none of these people have been confirmed to be back (and Keegan’s character was killed off in episode 2), there is a chance that at least some of them will be back to continue the story.

Reilly, played by Lydia, and Patty, played by Debi Mazar, a smart Pentaverate assistant, will have some work to do in the new world order of the Septaverate (we’ll get there). Jeremy Irons could also come back to add more clarity or profanity to the beginning of each episode.

What Will Happen In Season 2 Of The Pentaverate?

After The Pentaverate was destroyed at the end of season one of The Pentaverate, Reilly and Patty started a new secret society called The Septaverate. (Because there are now seven of them instead of five.) Ken Scarborough joined the group as Kentor, the all-seeing superintelligence that The Septaverate looks to for advice.

Bruce Baldwin (also known as Myers), who fell into a bottomless pit, somehow made it out alive and is now sipping drinks on a tropical beach (albeit with the face of Rob Lowe).

Since he has lost his power, it wouldn’t be surprising if he tried to come up with a new plan to take over the world (while making some serious cash in the process).

When Can I See The Trailer For The Second Season Of The Pentaverate?

Nothing has happened yet unless you know some very powerful people in a secret society that may or may not be hiding in an underground bunker and controlling the world. If you do, you should probably ask them. If you don’t, you’ll have to wait until the show is confirmed to come back and has been filmed, just like the rest of us.
