The Wilds Season 2 Release Date
An announcement that Season 2 would be released on Friday, May 2, 2022, was made public on the show’s official social media accounts around the end of February 2022.
In December 2020, The Wilds was officially renewed for Season 2.
Showrunner Amy B. Harris told Variety that her writers’ room already had a “very strong blueprint” for Season 2, even before the renewal was announced.
As for the possibility of a second season being ordered, she stated that Amazon had asked her, “What’s the hook for the next season?” You can understand why a second control group was introduced at the end of Season 1 if you’ve already seen it.

Harris said, “a lot of very strong ideas about where the show [is] going to go next,” but adds that the show’s creative team is “willing and open, once we start building the next portions of the house, to see different things come together.” As for what might even happen past Season 2, Streicher adds, “We do have vignette ideas where each girl will land at the end of this.”
The Wilds Season 2 Cast
The Wilds Season 2 will have a fresh cast of performers thanks to the new control group. Charles Alexander, Zack Calderon, Nicholas Coombe, Alex Fitzalan, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Aidan Laprete, Tanner Ray Rook, and Reed Shannon are among the male up-and-comers joining the cast for Season 2.
A creative approach was developed to unveil the new cast members back in May 2021, when Prime Video shared a video of series star Sophia Ali adding all eight actors to a “The Wilds fam” text thread.
