Shea Couleé, Star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” Joins “Ironheart” for Marvel Studios
According to Deadline sources, Shea Couleé, the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has been cast in a secret role in the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart.
In the series, the Marvel character Riri Williams, a brilliant inventor and the creator of the most advanced armor since Iron Man, will be played by Dominique Thorne. There’s also Alden Ehrenreich and Anthony Ramos involved. Chinaka Hodge, the show’s new head writer, was recently brought on board. It is unclear what role Coulee will play.

Marvel’s publicists declined to comment.
Before joining the series, Couleé appeared on the Emmy Award-winning RuPaul’s Drag Race. The All Stars 5 champion also made it to the finals of All Stars 7 and Drag Race 9, where she was a finalist.
Couleé has also appeared in numerous publications worldwide, including Vogue, Out, Entertainment Weekly, Gay Times, and Metal.
