The first season of ‘God of High School’ premiered on July 6, 2020, and aired for a total of 13 episodes till September 28, 2020. ‘God of High School’ had a lot of buzzes even before it premiered because it is a manhwa adaption. Viewers had high expectations for the upcoming “God of High School” after the enormous success of “Tower of God.”
Many considerations come into play when considering anime renewals, such as the show’s popularity and the amount of remaining source material that can be adapted. As the comic on which “The God of High School” is based is ongoing, there is plenty of material to draw from. At the same time, the anime series itself was a hit, and it continues to do so.

The God Of High School Season 2 Plot
Taejin Jin is introduced in ‘God of High School’. A North Korean soldier arrested by the South Korean government teaches him a new kind of martial arts. North Koreans are hiding something in their tunnels as Taejin and his men check unusual energy readings coming from there. In the midst of this, they come across an enormous gorilla-like beast. Despite the gorilla’s defeat, he provides Taejin with a crystal containing Jin Mori as a prize for his troubles. And that’s how the main character of the story comes to be. We can expect The God Of High School Season 2 to start from where season 1 ended.
Cast Members
In terms of the cast, Tatsumaru Tachibana, who plays the series’ protagonist Jin Mori (via My Anime List), is expected to return for a possible second season of The God Of High School, as are Han Daewi (Kentarô Kumagai) and Yu Mira (Ayaka Ohashi), two of Mori’s friends who compete in the tournament at the center of the series.
