When Will Be Wolf Pack Season 2 Release Date Comes Out?
Sarah Michelle Gellar (as Buffy the Vampire Slayer) made the dramatic transition from Sunnydale monster hunter to moody werewolf Kristin Ramsey in the first season of Wolf Pack. In the second-to-last episode, we learned the truth about her, putting to rest any lingering speculation that Ramsey was a retired Buffy.
Imagine your surprise if you found out that season two of “Wolf Pack” is just Buffy. When will we next hear from our favorite pack of California werewolves? The question now is whether or not Wolf Pack will return for a second season. The only way to know is to investigate, so let’s do just that.
Wolf Pack Season 2 Release Date
There’s been no official word about a second season of Wolf Pack, but we still hope. But fans still have a long wait, even if the conversion renewal is approved.
Since the premiere of Season 1 occurred in January of 2023, Season 2 should premiere no earlier than the beginning of 2024. It’s important to remember that the production schedule will need to account for additional time if the movie is to have any special effects.
As eager as he is, Wolf Pack and Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis are taking no chances in his pursuit of green light. In an interview with SFX from back in January, the man we must now refer to as the father of wolves (because of his propensity for feeding werewolf addiction) revealed his plans for a second season:
“As you are doing the first season and setting up all these threads, you always start thinking a little further down the line… but nothing too concrete, yet,” Davis admitted.
“If enough subscribers sign up, if enough people watch, then we will get serious about it.”
It’s never too late to send out a distress call if you’re a fan who wants to see more. Make a lot of noise, howling and demanding that they all get behind Wolf Pack. That’s the mindset of a wolf, right?
There is a lot of other series that you may be interested in, and their release dates have been included here, so be sure to check them out:
Wolf Pack season 2 Cast: Who will be coming back?
There’s no way Sarah Michelle Gellar won’t return for season two after her major surprise (more on that below). Gellar is not only a star of the program but also an executive producer, and we expect this won’t change for season two, given her dedication.
Gellar disclosed the following in the same interview with Digital Spy:
While Jeff Davis, our fantastic creator, and showrunner, had already written the pilot episode before I arrived. I told him,
“You know, you have to understand that for me to be an executive producer, it’s not a vanity title.”
“I’m going to have opinions, I’m going to have critiques. And you have to be willing to hear them.”
She needs to step up her game both on and off-screen. Also, Wolf Pack wouldn’t be that interesting without the rest of the cast. Bella Shepard (Blake Navarro), Armani Jackson (newly bitten werewolf Everett Lang), Tyler Lawrence Gray (Harlan Briggs), and Chloe Rose Robertson (Luna Briggs) are all expected to return for the second season.
The adopted father of the Briggs twins, Garrett Briggs (Rodrigo Santoro), had a dramatic cliffhanger moment, so he will probably return in some capacity.
However, not everyone will return for the second season. Phoebe Caldwell, played by Bailey Stender, passed away earlier in the season, and we haven’t recovered from the shock of it even though she and Blake had finally reconciled. Chase Liefeld isn’t done with his journey yet, so we anticipate seeing him in full Baron regalia.
Wolf Pack season 2 trailer: When can I watch it?
In reality, it will take a long time. Despite having a release date of January 27th, the first official trailer didn’t come out until January 12th.
We hope the wait won’t be too long, but please check back with us if it is. We’ll let you know as soon as anything tasty becomes available. You can watch Wolf Pack every Friday in the United Kingdom and the United States on Paramount+.
