Oregon Coast and Cascades Have Been Issued Winter Storm Warning
According to a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service, vacationers in Oregon who will be in the Cascades between tonight and Sunday night should prepare for significant snowfall.
The storm warning also said there was a possibility of up to one foot of snow falling in the Coast Range in regions with an elevation of 1,500 feet or above. The warning will remain in force until Sunday night at 11 o’clock.
The National Weather Service in Portland has tweeted that significant snowfall is predicted for the Cascades this coming weekend-

Above 1,500 meters (about 5,000 feet), there may be between 1 and 2 feet of snow. Above 3,000 meters (about 10,000 feet), there may be up to 4 feet of snow. Moreover, there is a possibility of wind gusts reaching up to 35 miles per hour.

The snowstorm warning is currently in effect for the following Cascade passes: Willamette Pass (U.S. 20), Tombstone Pass (U.S. 20), and Government Camp (U.S. 26) are the passes that make up this route (Oregon 58).
