A ‘Law & Order’ Crew Member Was Killed on Set in New York
The NYPD has confirmed that a member of the “Law & Order” crew was shot and killed on the set in Brooklyn on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old man was a member of the parking detail for the spin-off of “Law & Order,” starring Christopher Meloni.

Crew Member Killed On the Set
At about 5:15 a.m. on North Henry Street, close to Norman Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, he was fatally shot in the head and neck while on the job.
Emergency medical services arrived and transported the man to Woodhull Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The man’s name has not been made public by authorities.
They expressed their “terrible sadness and shock” at the news of his death in a statement they provided.
As the investigation continues, “we are working with local law enforcement,” the statement read. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends, and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time.”
No one has been taken into custody, and the police still don’t know what motivated the crime.
