Mo’Nique’s character Goldie made her BMF debut this week, which gave some much-needed spice to the show’s continuing plot. Since I haven’t seen Mo’Nique play a complex character on television in quite some time, Goldie really stood out to me.

I really enjoyed watching her connect with Meech and Terry, and those parts were among the best in the episode. I have to admit, it’s very amusing to hear about how Meech and Terry tried to out-hustle everyone else at the underground casino.

One of the highlights is when Lamar suddenly comes up to the Flenory residence intending murder, and Lucille’s reaction of panic as she is greeted by Lamar. Thankfully, he was temporarily stopped, and it’s encouraging to see that he hasn’t completely lost his humanity.

His mother’s death may have caused him to have a change of heart, and I admire him for sparring with Lucille because of it, but if he had murdered Lucille, it would have been a prelude to all-out war. I’m still baffled as to how he managed to get free food at the fast food joint.

BMF Season 2 Episode 5 Recap: A Dice Levels Distinctions

In this weekly summary of the ‘BMF’ To Blowin’ Money Fast series, we’ll examine a few crucial points to see how they hinder Meech and Terry’s efforts to make money. The books will be balanced by assigning each transaction a positive or negative profit or loss value.

It’s impossible to predict what will be profitable and what won’t be until the season is through. In the most recent episode of BMF, titled “Runnin’ On E,” the world as Meech and Terry know it nearly collapses.

In this episode, Meech spends much of his time healing from bullet wounds he sustained when Lamar, whom Meech had mistakenly thought dead, shot him. Terry, being the brother he is, returns to BMF as soon as he is well enough to do so in order to help Meech organise the situation there.

BMF Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers

Let’s suppose for a second that we don’t know the real BMF backstory; if you really immersed yourself in this play like you were Meech and Terry, you’d realize they were in some serious danger. They can’t afford to do anything and they’re quickly running out of options.

What are the two trying to do now that they’re panicking? Let’s just say that as “Moment of Truth” progresses, they might have to draw a little bit on their history in order to go forward. There’s a chance they’ll solve this, but we don’t expect it to be simple.

Meech and Terry, on the run, broke, and in need of a new plug, find themselves in Atlanta, the Black Mecca, where they are able to reconnect with old acquaintances and establish new allies in an effort to revive their business during the drug drought.
