Brews Brothers Season 2: What to Expect?

We see Will and Adam Rodman, the booze-obsessed brothers from Brew Brothers, move on to a new chapter in their profession as braumeisters at the end of Season 1, but will Netflix order another season of this comedic show?

Below we have mentioned some of the information we have so far about the upcoming season of Brews Brothers.

In Greg Schaffer’s Brews Brothers, Will (Alan Aisenberg) and Adam (Mike Castle) are two talented brewers who have a hard time selling their wares. Sarah (Carmen Flood) and Chuy (Marques Ray) help the two brothers maintain Rodman’s Brewery viable and offer their boozy concoctions to new clients with the help of their staff.

Season 1 of Brews Brothers ended with Will and Adam seemingly finding success when they received an offer to purchase the brewery. The story concludes with a second chance for the two of them, but will Netflix grant the same treatment to the show?

Netflix has not yet decided whether or not to renew Brews Brothers for a second season. If a show is popular enough, the streaming service will hold on renewing its contract for several weeks or months before making a decision.

Brews Brothers’ ratings and critical reception aren’t promising, as the show failed to crack Netflix’s US Top 10 in its first weekend of release.

Release Date for Brews Brothers Season 2

Season 1 of Brews Brothers went rapidly, with Netflix announcing an eight-episode series in August 2019 and the show premiering eight months later, in April 2020. Despite this, there is no guarantee of the future.

If Netflix approves the second season of Brews Brothers, it could be a while before it’s released because of the coronavirus pandemic that has shut down nearly all television and film production.

Assuming the lockdown will be removed quickly, Brews Brothers season 2 could arrive in the summer of 2021 at the earliest. However,  It’s possible you’ll have to wait a little longer.

The Plot of Brews Brothers Season 2

When Chuy and Truffle (Flula Borg) agree behind Will and Adam’s backs to operate Rodman’s Brewery for the corporation offering to buy them out after a season of struggling to make it successful, they lose it not to bankruptcy but to betrayal.

After yet another disagreement, Will and Sarah reconcile and Sarah offers to utilize the advance he granted her to establish a new brewery with the funds. For inspiration, they return to the Trappist monastery in Belgium, where Will studied as a Braumeister.

Will, Adam, and Sarah’s return in Brews Brothers season 2 is likely to involve a showdown with their former employer. Chuy and Truffle’s rivalry plotline would keep them in the running even if they choose a place outside of Van Nuys, which would be a smarter choice.

As a bonus, it would be interesting to learn more about the lives of Will and Adam, because they were both adopted. Adam’s earlier transgressions in Portland may come back to haunt him.
