According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, Luz Hernandez, a 33-year-old kindergarten teacher from Jersey City, New Jersey, was first reported missing on Monday. According to ABC News New York City affiliate WABC, Hernandez worked as a kindergarten teacher at BelovED Charter School in Jersey City, which was within a two-minute walk from her home. According to WABC, the school’s founder, Bret Schundler, described Hernandez as a beautiful guy and a wonderful kindergarten teacher who formed strong bonds with the faculty and pupils.
