From Brooklyn 99 to Central Intelligence, Netflix is known for its excellent crime comedy TV series and movies. Currently, the popular streaming platform is working on yet another TV show in the same genre with a killer plot. The new series called Murderville features an excellent cast with a storyline full of plot twists.

Murderville Release Date
Fortunately for fans, Netflix has announced Murderville’s release date and it’s just a few weeks away! The first season of the comedy series will premiere on Thursday, February 3. It will exclusively air on Netflix at 3:01 a.m ET and 12:01 a.m PT.
Murderville Synopsis
The plot features the story of Terry Seattle, played by Will Arnett. He is a senior detective in the Homicide Division and solves a new murder mystery every day! The major plot twist is that he is partnered with a new famous guest star every single day! Moreover, the guest stars don’t get a script! They’re supposed to improvise and just ‘wing it.’
The series loosely follows the storyline of BBC’s famous show Murder in Successville. Arnett commented on the plot saying,
“We’re basically making Law & Order without a script.”
He further added, “I do think people liked the idea that they could come in, they didn’t have to learn any dialogue and they could be themselves and just go for a ride. And I have to give these people credit because it’s freakin’ scary as s**t.”
The official synopsis for Murderville reads,
“Welcome to Murderville, a new series starring Will Arnett as a detective who, in every episode, has to solve a murder with a new celebrity guest star as his partner.
The catch is: the guest star is never given a script so they have to improvise their way through the case!”
