The Movies That Made Us Season 3: Here’s What You Need To Know About The Upcoming Haunted Carnival 

All new haunted carnival is on its way to hit is way before Halloween, and we can’t wait! 

The Netflix docu-series, which first aired in November of last year, features interviews with people who worked on some of the most well-known films ever made. In late 2020, a Christmas spin-off was released, and a second season was released in the summer of 2021. It has already addressed classics like Dirty Dancing and Ghostbusters and more recent films like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Die Hard, and Home Alone, and it’s coming back for horror fun this time.  Shortly after the release of season 2 of The Movies That Made Us, Brian Volk-Weiss confirmed that there would be more episodes in 2021 in The Movies That Made Us season 3. 

The Movies That Made Us season 3 will begin airing on October 12th and will feature a considerable spectrum of movies, including some of the most influential horror films of all time, just in time for Halloween.

What is it about?

An offshoot of “The Toys That Made Us,” a mini-documentary series on the history and influence of famous toy fads, “The Movies That Made Us” examines some of the most impactful movies ever made showcasing behind-the-scenes footage shot with the filmmakers. In the first two seasons, films including “Jurassic Park,” “Die Hard,” “Back to the Future,” “Home Alone,” and “Ghostbusters” were shown.

Aliens (1986)- A deep space salvage crew discovers Lt. Ripley’s spacecraft after drifting in space for 57 years. When the marines arrive at LV-426, they find out just one survivor, a nine-year-old girl called Newt. The hordes of aliens overrun the settlement are no fit for even these battle-hardened troops with the newest equipment.

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) – Nancy Thompson and a gang of her pals (including Tina Gray, Rod Lane, and Glen Lantz) are harassed by a serial killer called Fred Krueger in their nightmares on Elm Street. As Fred seeks to destroy everyone one by one, Nancy must react swiftly. The question is, who can save you while he has you in his sleep. 

Coming to America (1988) –Ignoring his father’s objections, a noble, courageous prince and his servant choose to find love in New York City. While wandering, he notices a lovely native woman. They both put their cards on the table. Is it going to be a match or a disaster?

Friday the 13th (1980) –While attempting to rebuild a summer camp that had been the location of a child’s drowning and a horrific double murder years earlier, a group of camp counselors is pursued and murdered by an unknown killer.

Halloween (1978) –Six-year-old Michael Myers savagely strangled his older sister Judith, 17, on a brisk Halloween night in 1963. He received a 15-year prison term after pleading guilty. Michael Myers, then 21, flees Smith’s Grove by stealing a vehicle on October 30, 1978, while being transported to a court hearing. He returns to Haddonfield, Illinois, a sleepy suburb outside of Chicago, hunts for new victims.

Robocop (1987) – Omni Consumer Products gets a partnership from the municipal government in a brutal, fairly close Detroit to privatize the police department. To put its RoboCop prototypes through their paces, the corporation sends street officer Alex Murphy into a shootout with criminal boss Boddicker to evaluate their crime-fighting cyborgs. However, when RoboCop discovers the organization’s evil objectives, he flips on his employers.
