The pairing of J.P. France and Jessica McCain is unique. He’s a yodeling, baseball-loving Southerner, and she’s a reality TV star who’s appeared on “The Challenge,” “The Real World,” and more. However, she fell in love with France while working as a cook in Aspen.

She said that her friendship with J.P. France was like “late-night phone calls with my best friend,” adding that they “fell asleep on FaceTime every night” and that they “missed you from thousands of miles away” through tears, laughter, and far-distant practical jokes.

J.P. France proposed to his girlfriend of almost two years on May 23, 2020, and she said yes. They got married on February 6, 2021. They married during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, and she often counseled young women not to let the possibility of de@th make them lose sight of the big goal.
